The Big Bang Theory 5.15 “The Friendship Contraction” Review
Leonard is no longer interested in doing things for Sheldon in this week’s episode of Big Bang Theory. Sheldon is selfish, stubborn and demanding but now Leonard is fed up. He refused to drive Sheldon to the dentist, but that did not go down well with Sheldon. Sheldon stops being friends with anyone who says no to him. He demanded that they terminate their roommate agreement and Leonard happily accepted it.

Sheldon turned to other friends to assist him with his chores. But his friends refused to do anything for him including taking him to see the dentist, Super Cuts, Podiatrist, Allergist, Dermatologist. The list of chore demands is endless but even Stuart declined to assist Sheldon.
It appears Leonard is Sheldon’s perfect messenger. Of all of Sheldon’s friends Leonard is the only one that willingly runs errands for Sheldon. On realizing this, Sheldon hatches a plot to return to Leonard’s good books. He cuts off power supply to the entire building just to make Leonard understand that he wants him back. Leonard did go back to Sheldon but it may not have happened if Penny had not urged him to do so.
So viewers are back to square one except that there’s now something called “Leonard Day”. Viewers would have preferred it if Leonard had declined to endorse the Roommate Agreement once more but Leonard’s day is definitely a sort of compensation. Fans may get an installment which is all about Leonard.
Elsewhere, Howard wants to go to space and he is searching for a good nickname. Buzz suggests Rocket Man but his mother ruined everything and in the end, Howard settled for ‘Fruit Loops’
So, what did you think about this episode of the show? Are you happy that they restored the Roommate Agreement or would you have preferred that they amend it?
