Dr. Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki) is one of the characters in the CBS television series, “The Big Bang Theory.” He works as a Caltech experimental physicist and lives in the same apartment as Dr. Sheldon located in Pasadena, California. In the apartment he lives in, the elevator seems to always be broken. As a physicist, he often uses lasers (helium-neon laser or free electron laser) and often has a huge variety of research topics, may it be Bose-Einstein condensates or soft cosmic rays at sea level.
